Wall Bingo
Playable - Game play is a lively contest involving two or three teams trying to cover spaces on a wall
chart in their quest for the most points. The play and scoring is simple, but with a twist: select a
space, provide a correct response to the question, and then receive the score of the space.
Because covering three or more spaces in a row earns special bonuses, a modest 10-point question
might actually be worth up to 260 points. It's easy to see why this game is such a hit — the
strategy of play is as important as the correct response.
Adaptable - This wall game can be adapted to any material that can be developed into short-answer questions of 35 words or less. Topics already adapted to Wall Bingo include time
management, sales management, customer relations, stress management, safety awareness, CPR and
EMT training, general management review, and hazardous material.
Preparation - The game chart
(full color, 3-foot by 4-foot, laminated on both sides) is mounted or hung on the wall. The game uses "square covers"
to indicate status of play on the game
chart. The trainer should develop 30 to 60 questions, one set of
6 to12 questions for each column on the
wall chart. The game system comes with a "Facilitator's Manual" which provides a complete
guideline to development and play of the game.
